This Privacy Policy explains how FoxApex LLC ("FoxApex," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you when you use the ArkLove mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide: Phone number, first name, date of birth, gender, country of residence, country of birth, photos (profile and verification), bio text, interests, hobbies, personality traits, languages, ethnicity (optional), career, and relationship preferences.
b) Information collected automatically: Device type and operating system, app usage patterns, IP address, push notification token (FCM token), approximate location (GPS coordinates when you grant permission), and referral source.
c) Subscription and purchase data: Subscription tier and status, managed through RevenueCat and Apple/Google billing systems. FoxApex does not store full credit card or payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) create and maintain your account; (b) display your profile to potential matches within the App; (c) facilitate matching, messaging, and referral features; (d) verify your identity and age; (e) process subscription purchases; (f) send push notifications for matches and messages; (g) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms; (h) improve and personalize the Service; (i) comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
ArkLove relies on the following service providers who may access your data solely to perform services on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions. Google states in its terms that Firebase data is not sold to third parties and is not used for advertising purposes. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- RevenueCat — In-app subscription management. Manages subscription state only; does not receive personal profile data. See revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple Inc. / Google LLC — Payment processing, app distribution. Their respective privacy policies govern payment transactions.
FoxApex LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever.
4. Location Data
With your permission, we collect your device's GPS coordinates to show you geographically relevant matches. We store only general coordinates (not precise addresses). You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings.
5. Photos & Verification Images
Profile photos are stored in Firebase Storage and displayed to other users within the App. Verification (selfie) photos — in which you hold up 3 fingers — are stored securely and reviewed only by authorized FoxApex personnel for identity authenticity. Verification photos are never displayed to other users. They are permanently deleted from our servers as soon as your account is approved. If you delete your account before approval, the photo is also permanently deleted. We do not retain verification photos beyond their intended purpose.
6. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. Your FCM token is stored in a private Firestore subcollection and is only used to route notifications to your device. You can opt out of notifications at any time in your device settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, and messages are removed from our active database. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics. Legal or compliance records may be retained as required by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: (a) access a copy of the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); (d) object to or restrict certain processing; (e) data portability. 9. Children's Privacy
The App is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.
10. International Users
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States (Florida) and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App you consent to this transfer. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection laws.
11. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), Firebase security rules restricting access to your private data, and access controls limiting who within FoxApex can view sensitive information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will increment the policy version and may require your re-agreement within the App. Your continued use after re-agreement constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
